Went to see Captain America the other day, with friends. Occurred to self, and found this to be distractingly amusing, that Mr Smith (notorious computer foe of the Matrix) has been undergoing something of a make-over and resurfaces here as Mr Schmidt (über-evil scientifically enhanced villain). Certain parallels, that is to say. And on the topic of Hugo Weaving, who features in both roles, one has also been watching another fave film with this fave Aussie this very week:
